72mm Brass Frame Multifunctional CPL&ND2-32 Filter 2 in 1 ultra-thin High-Definition Optical Glass Coated with Waterproof and Anti-Scratch Anti-Reflection Green Film with two Orange Levers Nano-Xcel PRO Series
SKU: KF01.2001
The "K&F Concept Nano-X PRO ND Filter 77mm Variable Gray Filter ND2-32 (1-5 Stop) Neutral Gray Filter" is delivered in its original packaging.
✅ The workmanship is very high quality to match the filter AND has a sustainable idea and implementation. The interior can be used as a picture frame, which I think is very successful.
✅ The filter is delivered packed in a very sturdy leather bag. A carrying strap is sewn in so that you could easily wear it on your wrist if you wanted to. A microfiber cloth is also included.
✅ The filter itself is really high quality and feels the same. A sturdy and good metal frame with a decent feel. However, there is no surrounding structure compared to the K&F ND1000, but there are two small handles.
✅ The variable gray filter darkens the image by 1-5 stops, which is okay, but is almost too low for long exposures. I was also allowed to test the ND1000 filter, which stops down 10 stops, which makes a huge difference. I didn't notice any aberrations or uneven progression.
✅/⚪ There is an end stop for ND2 and ND32, which I think is successful. Unfortunately, there is no haptic feedback once you have reached a stop. That would have made perfect sense.
⚪ Another thing I would have liked is a sturdy box in the carrying bag. No matter how well and attractively the leather case is made, the filter is not protected against dust and external forces. You shouldn't skimp on it, especially with such a price-intensive filter.
Overall, a really high-quality filter for a corresponding price of just under 300EUR. Whether you want to and have to spend that much remains to be seen. I'm missing a small box and the price could also be lower compared to the K&F ND1000 - variability or not - which is why I give it a solid 4 stars overall if you have the appropriate budget in your pocketbook and can get by with the 5 aperture stops.

Filter a little expensive, but with excellent optical performance. It does not present some defects common to this type of filter, such as color changes and non-uniform darkening. Quite satisfied.

My friend and I have been running a channel on YouTube for several years and have also become partially self-employed through it. We produce content for companies and we have now put together a lot of equipment for this purpose. When it comes to ND filters, we have so far been in the cheap segment and have preferred fixed filters because we haven't heard much good about the cheap variable filters.
We now use square filters with a matte box for larger productions. But especially for smaller orders where we need a lot of flexibility, we rely 100% on the Nano-X Pro. This covers exactly the area we need. The optical quality of the recordings is really great and there is simply no distortion at all. Sometimes we also use an adapter for square filters after the Pro ND. This works because the Nano-X Pro has a thread into which you can screw additional filters.
Theoretically, it is even possible to use this in conjunction with a matte box and a rectangular filter. The possibilities are very diverse.
I can only say words of admiration about the workmanship, simply fantastic. As soon as I unpacked it, I had the feeling that I was holding a super high-quality product in my hands. The workmanship is flawless and the case gives an equally high-quality impression. Adjusting the filter is very smooth and the filter has not tilted once.
I can give my recommendation without hesitation. Anyone who makes the, admittedly quite large, investment will be rewarded with quality and images, which definitely justifies the price. Anyone who claims that a cheap filter does the same thing in this regard has not yet dealt with this topic in detail.

The K&F Concept polarizing filter + variable ND comes in a really well-built box
Inside we find a suede filter holder that alone makes you understand the quality of the product.
Taking out the filter you immediately notice a maniacal construction worthy of the K&F Concept brand.
It is made entirely of metal with a brass ring with two protruding flaps for more precise adjustment.
The filter is made of optical glass with a 36-layer Nano coating that gives it a minimum reflection of light plus guarantees a neutrality of the framed images to be as faithful as possible.
Variable ND with an adjustment from ND2 to ND32 that allows a gain of 1 to 5 stops limiting the entry of light into the lens.
By mounting the filter and looking carefully at the image you do not notice anything, neither light aberrations nor cross X effect while rotating the filter
The case that is supplied with a cloth for cleaning the filter is very convenient.
I also use other filters from well-known and much more expensive brands and this filter is no exception. They are very

This might be one of the better qulity ND filters that I ever used. I picked 72mm ND filter for my 85mm lens where it suits and works perfectly and also Im using it on my 17-28mm lens that has diameter of 67mm, so i use it together with stepup ring. Here I must say, it does make little vignette at 17-19mm, it goes away at 20mm. But this might be the case due to stepup ring, can't say about experience without stepup ring on this wide lens. This is not yhe case on my 85mm lens. Weight of this ND filter is on a heavier side, which gives it really premium feel so does the glass quality, which is real glass of course.
Overall I'm more then satiafied with this filter and I can recommend it.

I've known K&F for a while now and have one or two of their products (UV filters and camera backpacks). For me, the brand was always technically good for price and performance and was more in the middle price segment.
But now they want to know and are moving into the high class area.
An ND filter reduces the incoming light. With this variable from ND2 to ND32. This makes it ideal for long exposures and to “artificially” extend them. Beautiful, soft gradients can be achieved, especially with moving processes such as rivers, waterfalls, road traffic and others.
The filter comes beautifully packaged and is really fun to unpack. Anyone who loves unboxing will really enjoy it here.
The filter comes in a fabric/leather bag. Very nice in itself, but in my opinion a filter fits better in the familiar plastic caskets.
The inside of the packaging can be converted into a “picture frame”. Funny idea but I think there are nicer ones.
But let's get to the filter itself. Here I have to say that the performance matches the price. Fine workmanship, both on the filter thread, ring and the glass.
The filter can be easily and easily opened and removed again, which is no comparison to cheap filters.
The glass is of the best quality and its optical performance cannot be distinguished from other ND filters from well-known competitors.
This means you have even darkening across the entire image and levels without any loss of quality or any color casts.
All in all, a very good filter in terms of its quality and optical performance. Its weak point is the slightly loose fixation in the storage bag.
What I personally miss are notches so that you know where you are.
I'm a bit conflicted about the price. The quality of the filter corresponds to the price, but I don't know whether I would buy it. Because for that price you can buy a rectangular filter with a suspension and the corresponding filter.
I also find the range from ND2 to ND32 to be a bit unfavorable as it is quite small. But that is my personal opinion and of course always depends on the user.

I recently purchased the K&F Concept ND filter for my Sony FX3, and it has quickly become an essential part of my gear for video. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its sturdy build quality. While it’s slightly heavier than other filters, this added weight contributes to its durability, making it perfect for demanding shoots.
Mounting the filter was seamless, and I was pleased to find no vignetting issues, a common problem with ND filters. The filter performed exceptionally well in the bright, high-altitude conditions of the Peruvian mountains. It allowed me to shoot wide open in intense daylight without overexposing my footage. The color accuracy was spot-on, with no noticeable color cast, saving me time in post-production.
The metal frame and smooth threading make the filter easy to use, and the multi-resistant coating effectively reduces reflections and glare, which was particularly useful in harsh sunlight. It’s also easy to clean, which is a huge plus in dusty or wet environments.
In summary, the K&F Concept ND filter is a high-end accessory that pairs perfectly with the Sony FX3. Its excellent performance, durability, and flawless integration make it a worthwhile investment for any serious videographer, especially in challenging environments like the mountains.
