52mm Blue Streak Filter (2mm) Optical Glass Ultra-clear Waterproof Anti-Scratch Anti-Reflection Green Film Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2095
This Blue Streak filter comes in a beautiful K&F Concept branded cardboard box (sealed in a plastic wrap). Inside the box is the filter, well protected in a handy protective case. A small cleaning cloth is also provided. The 77mm diameter frame of the filter is well made and feels quite sturdy. It screwed my lenses and step-up rings on and off with no problems. It also rotates smoothly so you can change the angle of the flare effect to your liking. The quality of the glass is also very good without any significant problems. Due to the thin frame, I didn't have any problems with vignetting either. The Blue Streak filter effect is great for recreating the Anamorphic Flare effect. In this case, flare from a light source appears as a stretched horizontal line, rather than circular bokeh. With care, this can really add impact to your image and can also be used to give your image a different mood or atmosphere. It's a useful effects filter whether you're shooting, filming, or both. In summary, this is a well-made filter that you can use to add anamorphic flare effects to your photos and/or footage. While it may not quite live up to the standard of far more expensive filters, unless you're a professional filmmaker who needs the absolute best, it should be perfectly good enough for what you need.

This filter has limited uses, but if you want to be a little creative with your photography, this filter is for you. Once you've attached the filter to the end of your lens, you can rotate it a full 360° to place a blue stripe at any angle. As with other K&F Concept filters I have, the quality is there. It comes with its own hard case and lens cloth. It's not the cheapest filter, but I think it's worth the price.

Made by a great manufacturer who I have bought from many times in the past. This is my favorite camera accessories maker! This is the 77mm Blue Streak filter with HD optical glass. It fits the camera perfectly and has an aluminum frame that feels premium! Works very well and should last the life of the camera. No problems with the product and it arrived well packaged and ready to use. I would buy this again!

I love this filter! I use it for all product shots. It makes the image look a lot more cinematic, especially if you've set up the right lighting.

It was delivered much earlier than expected (4 days after receiving my order), anyway the product is really fantastic and does a better job, I thought it would be better with the price. I highly recommend it for a cinematic look like the one I have in this image and video I made with the filter (blue version)

Really easy to use. Makes every shot look gorgeous and the rolloff is natural. Highly recommended, good value for money.

Used sparingly it gives some nice stripes and effects, it's good quality and works well. Honestly, it's nice to have instead of having, but I'm happy to have it in my pocket for sure.

This is a quality filter. The threads are firmly connected to the camera lens and the resulting images will not be distorted when this is on the camera. I love the double sided flare that gives night time images with a light in the middle. I've always wondered how photographers do it. Now I not only know how, I also know how easy it is.

This filter is very interesting. As stated in the product description, it mimics the flare of an anamorphic lens. However, this effect comes with some caveats. First, this filter creates this effect using small lines of a blue diffusion-like material. That gives you an anamorphic look, but it tends to overdo it. Flares are much more solid than a true aspheric lens and become unusable in locations with many large light sources. However, this is better than buying a $2000 Sirui lens unless you have two grand sitting around. Second, since the filter uses physical material to create the effect, it's easily visible when you're looking for it, otherwise it disappears in the image. In my experience, this side effect worsens with longer focal lengths. Third, because the filter uses a physical material to mimic an anamorphic lens, autofocus sometimes gets muddled. I used this filter on my Sony A7IV with a Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 lens. At around 24mm, the autofocus would occasionally go haywire. Again, longer focal lengths exacerbate this problem, especially when focusing on subjects closer to the lens. Pros: This filter is very cool despite the caveats I discussed. I used it in a short film and I loved it. is it perfect No, but nothing ever is. If you are looking to buy this filter I would recommend it. However, if you have a few thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket, buy a true anamorphic lens like a Sirui 100mm. Overall a great purchase I have no regrets but be aware of the issues involved. If you want to use a fisheye lens: maybe not for you. If you want to get very close to a topic: Not for you. If you want to shoot in dynamic lighting with a longer focal length: this is for you.
