I'm so glad I got the Metal Detector for Kids. My son and husband has found all kinds of interesting things. It's very accurate. When it goes off the red light and lound sounds let's you know that something is there. We not had it go off without something being there. It come with a hand shovel n rake perfect size for there little hands. The bag to store it in is made of tuff cloth sure to last. The medal detector adjust to different heights making it comfortable for different children to use. It's sturdy and it's so simple to use that they will think they are big stuff finding treasure on there own. My son hasn't let it out of his sight since he received it. Comes with the 9volt battery so you're good to go when it arrives. You can't go wrong.

This is a great item for kids. It is really easy for them to set up and use! Light-weight makes it easy for them to handle and the carrying bag makes it perfect to take anywhere. We were not expecting the bag or the digging tools that came with it, so that was a nice surprise. After one use we found an old knife and some rusted pliers, works great so far!

I purchased this detector for my son and he absolutely loves it! He has been asking for a decent or for quite awhile now and we couldn't believe how easy it was to use! It was ready to go out of the box and even came with some tools which he thought was really neat. Definitely would recommend to other parents out there looking to get one of these for a kid in their life.

This was such a fun birthday present during quarantine for my 7 year old. You can adjust the length so even my 4 year old was able to use it comfortably. The kids loved going out and finding treasures in our backyard. We threw coins out for them to find, and it did a great job detecting them. We also found an old basketball pole that was sawed off at some point. We are still waiting to find our big treasure ､｣. Worked better than I could have expected!

This metal detector is very lightweight and perfect for kids. Sweeping motion for detection is necessary. My kids and I have used this at our local lakes and trails! No significant finds yet but we bring it anytime we go on an outdoor adventure. The case is great with handles and a strap for back carrying. It's very easy to use with an easy on off button. We have not submerged ours in water but we have lightly skimmed water and have had no issues! My children want another one so they don't have to take turns. It's a great buy. Perfect for a gift or for any child (even adult for a starter detector) who loves exploring! Happy treasure hunting!

We got this metal detector as a starter tool for my friend's child birthday. He is a curious little boy who just turned 9. He loves rocks and nature and exploring and we found a fun book about metal detecting to go with this. I love that this came with a carrying case, rake and little shovel (although for rougher terrain, you may want a stronger spade). The detector is very lightweight so mom or dad won't have to struggle to carry it for them. The adult versions can be very heavy. We plan to take the boys to a couple Civil War battlefield to look for bullet casings. Meanwhile the kids tested this on floor studs then went outside to discover misc change, nails, and other parts. This put such a big smile on his face and I love toys that encourage learning and outdoor exploration. The height is ajustable by twisting the knob around the pole and pulling it the desired length. Parent tip: be sure to have a 9v battery to include or have ready since this does not come with one included.

My daughter absolutely adores this little metal detector. She loves watching videos of people who go treasure hunting and she really wanted to do it herself. The moment this arrived she began treasure hunting in our yard. She has since spent hours detecting and has found handfuls of coins, nails, screws, bottle caps and assorted other bits. So far no "real" treasure, but her joy has been treasure enough! It comes with a nice carry back and digging tools. If your child is looking for a fun treasure hunting activity, you can't go wrong with this. It is surprisingly accurate and is very lightweight and easy to use.

Purchased for my 6 year old grandson. It is his first detector. It is light weight, and most importantly it works! My son took him around their yard. Decades ago, it was a farm for Clydesdales. They hit a nice find. My son said the finds were not very deep. But this us not a high end device. So manage your expectations and enjoy spending time through the eyes of a six yr old.

SUPER easy to use and so fun for the kids! They were so excited to use it and even found some sunglasses buried in the sand! I can’t wait to take it out again they had the best time digging for treasures. It does not include a 9v battery which is required just FYI for when you get it. I loved that it comes with a carrying bag with a little shovel and tiny gardening rake looking tool as well so you have all you need.

We took it to the beach today and although we could not find any treasure on the beach, because it’s kind of a deserted island, every time it would touch the ground by mistake or water, it would beep once... we love it and it’s very accurate.
