Simple and clean is the way. I've learned that some cheaper alternatives add distortion or even discoloration to your photos and I don't want something that keeps me in the touch ups longer than I need to be. K&F has really done something simple and beautiful here. No distortion. No discoloration. And I can let this live on my lens to keep it safe and offer an extra line of defense in the unfortunate event that something happens. Quality of the build is nothing short of what you'd expect from K&F. Everything fits into place, screws on nicely, and the glass feels like it's secured into the metal housing. Definitely recommend even with the other massive amounts of competition out there.

Some people claim that using UV filters on lenses reduces image quality. Maybe my eyes aren't that sharp, but I can't tell the difference. This one product protects your lenses from dust and accidental contact with your fingertips. You can clean it with the included cloth or purchase lens wipes. Better destroy or damage this than a $2,500 lens.

This filter came elaborately packaged suitable for gift giving. It also looks great with a gold colored inlay showing its pedigree. Please see the image that’s part of this review for a look at part of the gold colored lettering.

It sure does look the part. I tried some test shots with the filter on and off the lens and then did the best pixel peeking I could noting no difference in exposure or color cast. To be fair, I’ve never noticed this with any high quality filter. I’ve never bothered with bargain basement filters because I have no interest in Lomography or its related ilk.

The manufacturer says this is thin and it is. Please see the image where I compare this filter with another UV that costs less than half as much. Both seem thin to me. I don’t see how thickness makes that much of a difference because adding any filter will require the removal of this one or you’ll get image quality robbing refractions from between the two filters.

I considered using a micrometer to measure the thickness of the lens itself but gave up the idea because I had no way to assure that I’d not scratch either this or another filter I’d use for comparison.

In sum, this does work well as a UV filter and it does not in any way alter the images when compared to the same lens without this filter attached.

・Considering optical performance, I don't want to attach a filter to a lens as much as possible, but this filter has high transmittance and anti-reflection, and it doesn't seem to cause an increase in ghosts or flare, so I plan to use it regularly to protect the lens.
・It arrives in a paper box that can also be used as a photo frame. Also comes with a cleaning cloth
-The filter is housed in a case made of cloth and leather. Pull the string on the right side and the filter will pop out.
・The height of the filter frame is 3.4 mm. Diagonally knurled for easy installation and removal

I can't go shooting because it's raining. It's a private matter, but I'm mourning.
When I was feeling depressed, my wife made a tag for the contents of the soft case.
I can't tell from outside the soft case. Because there is no notation.
Even though I was no good at it, they did their best and the items became treasures.

Alongside its new upcoming ND and CPL flagship filters, the UV filter is another great addition to the new Nano-X PRO Series from K&F. This is a fantastic addition to any camera setup as it reduces haziness and blue-ish cast. Some UV filters get backlash for actually causing other strange artifacts in images such as distortion or discoloration, but this filter does not negatively affect the image quality at all.

Overall, I really recommend you get something like this for your camera. No, it won't reduce the image quality, and it'll actually be a lifesaver as it enhances the image quality and it also offers a level of protection for your lens! Replacing a UV filter is much easier than replacing the glass of your lens if damaged, so keep that in mind.

Made in China, this attractively-boxed slim filter fits perfectly, causes no aberrations in the visual image or color throughput, and does not cause any problems with the fit of either the lens cap or a camera cover. While you're likely to simply leave this on the chosen lens, it comes with a magnetically sealed suede carrying case, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a two year warranty. It's not inexpensive but it provides equivalent quality to Canon L series lenses or the matching caliber lenses from other brands. Very pleased, and a perfect gift for the family photographer.

Got this to combo with my Canon R5 and the nice all-around RF 24-105 4 L lens. Fits nicely, and the lens cap is secured. Its UV protection is a nice feature to have. It keeps my pictures free and clear from those pesky UV rays when taking pictures outdoors, especially at the beach. My kitty ended up being the celebrity for the day while we were getting some sunshine hehe. Definitely worth getting, especially for anyone doing outdoor photography with the 70-200 2.8 L lens or 24-105 4 L lens (77 mm diameter).

I like UV filters that don’t get in the way and protect my expensive lenses. I would say this one qualifies. It is very slim and light and I don’t notice any abberations from the glass. No softness or mist or darkening. Just a crystal clear pass through. Perfect. I’ve had the best brands in the world over the years and this is on par with all of them, as it should be for the price. Easy to recommend.
