DJI Air 3 ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 Filters 4pcs Set, Neutral Density Filter Kit, 28 Layer Multi-Coated HD Optical Glass Filter
SKU: SKU.2063
Hey there!
Okay, so if you are anything like myself - once you get a new drone, you start looking for all of the accessories that you can fill your shopping cart. The ND filters are a perfect fit. I had waited a little bit before ordering them because I wanted to get familiar prior to putting them to use - but if you have the chance, definitely pick them up. If you are unfamiliar with ND filters, basically they limit the amount of light that reaches the camera sensor in order to avoid over exposure, especially on sunny days. You should do research so that you know which filter should be used for specific days and over which type of terrain (snow, sand, water, etc). Play around with them and also check which shutter speed you should use.
These filters are solid, they are very sturdy and look great. They are a perfect fit for my DJI Air 3 and they come with a carrying case (as pictured) so they fit well in my drone case. When you want to take a filter off, turn it counter-clockwise and then remove.. just do the same process in reverse when you want to install a new one. I have several different brands of filters and these are by far the easiest ones to install.
If you are looking for some filters for your DJI Air 3 - you should feel very comfortable with these as they are definitely worth the money for the quality you get. You will get the ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64. I'll really glad I was sent these.
They do have an anti-scratch coating, but make sure your hands are clean when installing, you may consider cotton gloves. They are water proof and great for 8k recordings. Definitely solid.

If you want to shot videos with your Air 3 drone, and have them appear natural (or at least as natural as our movie-trained eyes allow), you need to use neutral density filters. I won’t explain the exposure triangle but if you don’t understand the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO, you should learn this before using these filters.
These filters are designed for the DJI Air 3 and, as far as I know, only for that drone. They install on the drone with a twist, although it would have been nice if the manufacturer had included an instruction on how to mount and dismount the filters. I tested the density of the filters to insure they were 3, 4, 5 and 6 stops darker, and they were on the button. I also tested whether they were neutral density and found a slight shift to the red of about O.1 %. I regularly find this kind of a shift in even the best neutral density filters, so I was not concerned by it. If you are concerned than you probably know how to adjust for that in Lightroom Classic. Most videographers and photographers will be more than happy with the neutral nature of these filters.
I am unable to comment on the polarizing features of these filters. All of them bear the PL initials, but unlike most circular polarizers, these polarizers are not adjustable. In any event, I have found polarizers almost impossible to use with drones, whose relationship with the sun changes often, and in any event, is impossible to adjust while a drone is in flight. I don’t see a plus side to any polarizing features, but I don’t see a down side either.
I am using these filters with my Air 3 when I shoot videos and am happy with them.

This set comes in very compact packaging meaning you can easily pop them in your pocket for use in the field. Having used K&F filters for many years I know they are usually good quality and reasonably priced, and this set is no exception.
They fit the DJI Air 3 perfectly, with no rattle or movement of any kind. The design of the filter mount makes it relatively easy to change filters out in the field. The lenses are also calibrated perfectly and give consistent exposure across all filters, and in line with their ND ratings.
The CPL is of course harder to use on a drone (as you can’t rotate it while flying) but as long as you plan ahead and pre-shoot the polarization angle needed then it is certainly possible to get the shots you want. The mobility of a drone also allows you to move position very easily until you get the effect you need.
The optical quality is more than good enough for the sensor in the Air 3, and there is no noticeable loss of sharpness even when pixel-peeping on test shots.
Now, as for the price, these are currently £45. I would say that given the quality it’s a decent price and you aren’t going to find anything better short of professional filters costing hundreds of pounds.
I would say that overall this is a great set of filters that makes the drone far more usable on those sunny summer days. An absolute must-buy for any serious drone videographer.

Flying my DJI Air 3 has been exhilarating, and these filters have truly upped the ante. They effectively reduce glaring, ensuring my aerial shots remain crisp. Each filter, from ND8 to ND64, offers varying degrees of light reduction, adapting to different lighting conditions. The lightweight design ensures no strain on the gimbal, allowing smooth flights. The only minor setback was a slight learning curve in understanding the best conditions for each filter. But, after a few flights, the results spoke for themselves. Sky-high photography has never been so refined.

You can pay a fair bit more for these from some brands but these work just as well so are brilliant value and essential if you want to improve the clarity of your shots and picture quality and make a very noticeable difference in most weather scenarios. Easy to fit and very secure and brilliant value so would recommend fully.

Pretty much a must-have for good drone footage. K&F is delivering their usual good quality materials, performance, and a competitive price. This one is a win.

Very happy with this quality ND filter 4-pack! Included in the the set is an ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64 which provides lots of latitude, (3,4,5 & 6 F-stops) to create special effects and help control many lighting situations. Another great thing about this set is that each filter is polarized to help remove glare and reflections from water and glass.
They come packaged in a sturdy case with foam cutouts. Removal and installation is easy and involves a small clockwise/counterclockwise twist that locks the filters firmly in place. Optically, the results have been beautiful and these will come in particularly handy for shots involving moving water/lights.
Bottom Line: High quality set of ND filters that also provide polarization to remove glare. They come packaged in a sturdy case and fit my DJI Air 3 drone perfectly.

These filters are easy to install so you can quickly change them on the fly (pun intended). The glass is also clear with no distortion. K&F makes some quality filters.

The filters arrive in a nice plastic storage/carrying box. Each filter is labeled. They all clone the original mounting process and fit as expected. Since today was the first "sun" I've encountered in quite a few days I took shots with the 16, 32, and 64 filters. The results are shown facing Southwest, roughly centered on the water tower, a hundred feet up, and an immediate RTH to swap filters.
