Decently made fluid head for video. should fit a lot of people's needs at a good price.

I needed a fluid head for a specific job that I was working. I saw this and wondered if it would fit the bill. I installed this on one of my tripods and was not disappointed. The head is smooth in movement and does not have any hang-ups. I have used this mount numerous times since and it has always been great. Its good for those panning shots, its good for those panning videos. Very smooth and very convenient. I would surely recommend this product to anyone, K&F always seems to have great products.

I recently acquired a new tripod, which I quite like, but I needed to test this tripod head and so I replaced the original tripod head and immediately fell in love with this! This tripod head is fantastic!

I never put a lot of thought into how a tripod head functions, but this one works so smoothly that it's hard to not notice a difference. This tripod head adjusts super easily, which doesn't exactly set it apart, but it also has a more adjustable quick release plate and more importantly, it has a super helpful extendable handle.

When you adjust the tripod, you'll notice the smooth fluidity of the motions. It might not be especially helpful for most photography, but if you use this for video, the smooth movement will come in very handy. I imagine being able to pan the camera with almost no shake, all through the shot. With the extendable handle, you'll have to make tiny movements with ease.

I really love this tripod head and have permanently installed it on my new tripod. It's not exactly a cheap upgrade, but I think it's pretty reasonable given the quality of the device!

I’ve gone through three different compact-size fluid video tripod head and all of them were very disappointed. Now that I have the K&F compact fluid head, my search is finally over! The problems with the previous three fluid heads were the fact that the horizontal rotation were not very smooth and consistent. This is not great for doing panning shots for landscape videos. The problem I find with the previous fluid heads is that they use some sort of sticky substance to create a sense of friction in the horizontal pan. Unfortunately, the sticky substance that those fluid head uses don’t provide a smooth action and gives inconsistent friction depending on where you are in the rotation. Moreover, the fluid used in the vertical rotation makes the panning feel very stiff, making it very difficult to pan.

The K&F fluid tripod head seem to solve all of the problems that my three previous fluid head struggle with. The horizontal panning feels very smooth and consistent through all 360 degrees. The vertical rotation also feels very smooth with very consistent friction. Most impressive part is that the counter force created by the fluid friction is almost the same in both vertical and horizontal rotation. This makes it SUPER easy to do diagonal panning that looks smooth and consistent.

If I could give this product more than 5-stars, I would just for the fact that this product has ended my frustrating search for a compact-fluid tripod head. Now that my search is over, I can focus on creating great videos instead of fighting with less-than-stellar gear. Highly recommended.

This is a high-quality video head from K&F. I knew of this brand from their filters and I am pleased to know that they also make tripod heads. It is very well made and works very well. It is also very compact. The extending handle is quickly adjusted with a twist motion. The only improvement I would suggest is the addition of a leveling base.

This is a well made video head with very consistent drag as you pan (there are a lot of video heads that aren't consistent and that is maddening). The machining, and build quality, are right up there with more expensive ones and this is strong enough for my needs.

5 stars. A very usable panner at an excellent price.

I like the size and the buttery smooth panning with this head. With some of the smaller heads, I find that they aren't as smooth as the bigger, heavier units, but this one is very smooth panning and tilting. It is also quite small and lightweight. Excellent.

Would I buy these with my own money? Yes.

I have a rigid tripod that I use for multiple things. I didn’t want to buy a different one just for my camera so this was a great solution. Gives me the adjustability I was looking for without taking up a lot of room equipment wise.
The movement is silky smooth and doesn’t drift from where I left it. The item is much heavier than it looks, which to me is a sign of its quality.
