58mm ND8+ND64+ND1000 Lens Filter Kit with 3 Vacuum Cleaning Cloths and Filter Pouch, 24 Layer Multi-coated HD Optical Glass, Nano-Dazzle Series
SKU: SKU.2044V1
I recently "moved into" a new camera system, and the largest filters I had, 77mm, don't work in many of the lenses, which use 82mm. So, I'm having to re-filter for these new lenses. My work with this camera is mainly landscape, and along with a good polarizer, ND filters are where I tend to go.
I wrote an earlier review, comparing these to some top-line filters I have (but in smaller sizes)—but that review was rejected, and the only reason I can think is that I mentioned specific brands—so I won't try that again. Basically, from my tests, which only looked at how even the light transmission was and how neutral the longer exposures looked by eye, these K&F Concept filters are as good as you could ask for.
Looking at multi-coatings and reflections, the exterior of these filters was on par, if not better, than the high priced filters. That said, the rear (interior) surface on the more expensive filters was much less reflective (than even the fronts were!) whereas on the K&F filters the front and backs are about the same, in terms of lessening of reflections.
The filters come in a very nice case. I'd be happier with it if it was maybe a bit less padded—my bags always seem crammed. For me, the main difference between these and the top line filters are the rings. All three rings threaded on smoothly. No complaints. But if you're used to the way that nicely machined brass rings screw on, you'll know what I mean. I'm quite happy with these.

These are good quality but are fairly light duty in construction (rings). I like that the are kept together in a soft folio. These will work great alone, stacked with each other, or as a base for a variable ND to help avoid the dreaded "X" on the far end of those filters. Good all around set to have.

This is a set of three ND filters. They are basically sunglasses for your camera. They allow you to take pictures of bright light, or to allow you to take long exposure photographs in daylight so you can get those silky waterfall pics. Mine were 58mm. I used the ND1000 for the recent solar eclipse. I had to use it with my camera's built in live ND16 filter to get some of the photos. I had no problems with the fit or the clarity. They come packaged in a very nice folder and they are all in individually sealed bags. It also comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths. I haven't used the other filters yet so I don't know how well they capture color, but my first impressions are that they would be good for a beginner photographer.

When you first open the box, you automatically feel good about your purchase. Instead of just being thrown loosely in a box, this set comes in a stylish protective folding sleeve with pockets for each filter. This makes them easy to transport and keep safe in between uses. In the sleeves they are individually wrapped for quality assurance. It also comes with three microfiber cleaning cloths.
The filters are very lightweight. They have pronounced ridges on parts of the ring so you can easily install and remove the filter without your grip slipping. And they are thinner than traditional filters due to their nano coating.
After installing and testing them, I saw no vignetting or loss in sharpness, and no or extremely minimal color shifting (only in the ND1000.) The threading is machined well to where adding them to my lens was a breeze. I also successfully stacked the ND8 and 64 without issue. K & F Concept is making a name for itself in the camera world with filters like these.

K&F Concepts is known to produce very good photography products for the money. These ND filters are no different. The kit includes a padded carrying case for 3 filers. My set is for 77mm dia. lenses. One of the most common. The coatings and image quality are excellent. And the frames feature ridges for finger grip when installing them.
Included with the kit is 3 cleaning cloths in sealed envelopes. I'm very satisfied to have these in my inventory. Allows for long exposures in excessive light conditions.

I am always shooting video outside, so have desperately needed an NF filter set of some kind for awhile, as I am always stopping down my lens and losing all blur in the background. These filters are fairly inexpensive, especially when you get three of them. I like the grip sides on them, although kind of wish they have the grip all around instead of just some sides, because when you go to grab the filter, whether to get out of the case or on or off your lens, it seems to never be in the right place to grab from. Also, I noticed that on the darkest filter, I got a fingerprint on it while trying to get it out of the case, and had a really hard time getting that skin oil off the lens. Not sure what that means about the coating on the lens to protect it, but just thought I would mention it. Overall, clarity is fine for what I am doing and I'm not spending 5 times more for a more expensive filter. I'm just happy to get some good results now when I shoot outside, and can leave my F4 lens at F4, rather than going all the way to F16 or F22 sometimes. Good budget filter set.

I think this is a bargain deal, for what you get. I also think I'm a little spoiled with magnetic stackable filters, to where these aren't quite as exciting for me as they used to be. But I can say that, if I were buying my first filter set, or if I was just used to screwing filters on. Or, I was trying to save money, or simply couldn't afford more expensive filters, I would call these a 5 star experience.
I saw another reviewer mention their being aluminum, and having a tendency to bind more than other materials. I've had that problem in the past, but not with these yet. Just something to keep in mind. Try not to tighten them too hard, and I've never done this, but I imagine it's a thing... I bet you can very lightly lubricate them somehow, being careful not to get it on the lens. Don't quote me on that, and maybe consult your doctor, lawyer, psychiatrist, professional photographer before attempting such a stunt.
Other than that, you are getting what you pay for here. I love K&F, and love the effect of their ND filters for glare and contrast, and a much more cinematic/professional look to your content

These ND filters are exactly what I was looking for. Reduce light intake by 3/4/10 stops, a good variety for almost all use cases.
Screw on tight and well. Even and no distortion in output. They come with a great carry case and 3 microfiber cloths.
Great buy! Highly recommend.

This is not my first K&F product, nor will it be my last. This brand does a pretty good job of nailing the quality / price value. Their are obviously brand that offer better quality but they will often come with much higher prices.
I ordered these filters so I could set longer exposures for my shots at the bay area coast, and they have worked well. I appreciate that these come with a nice durable case .
Definitely worth picking up.

This is a three piece neutral density filter set to reduce the amount of light entering your lens. The filters have different densities to achieve varying amounts of light reduction. Think of them as light, medium, and dark.
The set comes equipped with a nicely made filter wallet (gray fabric with leatherette trim). In addition, in the box you will find three microfiber cleaning cloths in vacuum sealed bags. It is an impressive and nicely presented package.
How do they perform? These filters are very light and thin. In your hand they feel like you are holding nothing. Screwing them on they feel okay: the threading process in not super smooth, but not too rough. I would rate this as average.
Between using no filter and using the darkest one, I measured the difference at about six f-stops, or a six fold reduction in light transmission with the darkest filter. And the color looks neutral throughout the test. I think the filters performed quite well.
