K&F Concept 2400mAh NP-W235 Battery, Camera Battery with Type C Fast Charging, No Need Extra Charger for Fujifilm X-T5, X-S20, X-H2, X-H2S, GFX 100S, GFX 50S II, X-T4(1 battery)
SKU: KF28.0025
I have two OEM Fuji batteries that will usually get me through a day of shooting casually. I trust the K&F Concept brand though, so I got these as a back-up battery alternative. Now I can confidently shoot and pixel peep on my camera screen without worrying about running out of batteries on the road. They seem to be as good as the OEM batteries, but I haven't done any testing to confirm that.

So far this has been a very good third party battery for my GFX 100s. The camera tested it as "New" when I charged it and first put it in, and it gave me reasonably close to what I get from Fuji's OEM battery. I typically buy another brand of batteries, have for years, and at least as a new battery, feel that this K&F is closer to the capacity of the OEM. But—I've only used it through two recharge cycles so far; so I can't comment on ultimate life or how the capacity will decline with age.
So—the new features, to me, at least: A snap on bottom cover! After I got this, I searched Amazon to see if anyone was selling just these covers to fit onto the NP-W235 batteries, I'd love to buy them for all my batteries. The other main feature is that there's no charging station—the battery includes a built in circuit to do this, and they include a cable (USB C!) (another nice surprise) that goes from any USB charging station directly into the battery. Now—this is either a positive or negative feature. You can also charge the battery in a regular charger.
It shouldn't matter, but I also like the look of a white battery. I think every digital camera I've had for the past 30 years has had black batteries, so it's just nice to see something different. The included cable is heavier duty than the usual "tossed in" charger cable. My sense is, after three K&F product purchases, that K&S is trying a hit a more select market niche, with the goal of becoming a well known, and respected brand.

Slightly lower run time than OEM, but worth it for the price. I do like the white closer for ease of finding in the dark. But the batteries have gotten dirty over time.

The built quality of this battery is excellent. It holds a charge just like the original Fuji battery. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever. I love the USB-C charging option; it is a game-changer.

No issues so far paired with a X-T4. Charges fairly fast via USB-C and it exceeded my expectations in terms of battery life. Wasn't crazy about the blue design at first, but now I actually love it. Great alternative to OEM.

I have several spare batteries for my camera and this one is a welcome addition. The feature that really stood out is the USB-C port on it. You can charge it quickly this way without needing to plug in the camera or put this into a dedicated charger. Just pull out an available USB-C wire and start charging.

K&F CONCEPT never fails to impress me. I never really thought about this for camera batteries, but they built a USB C port right into the side of the battery itself. Whenever I run out of charged camera batteries on the road, I don’t always have access to an AC outlet. But I always have a USB port in my car or a portable power bank to use. I’ve seen designs like this for other things like flashlights, but never for a camera battery. To add to the goodness, this battery has a higher MAH rating than the Fuji OEM one. Well done K&F CONCEPT!

I ordered this K&F CONCEPT NP-W235 2400mAh Battery to use in my Fuji GFX100s.
The GFX100s is a great camera, but battery life is not so great. Instead of using a larger battery, Fuji chose to use the smaller battery from their Fuji-X cameras to keep the 100s as small as possible. While I appreciate the form factor of the 100s, I'm not a fan of how many batteries it goes through during a heavy day of shooting. And because I often carry more than one camera, that means carrying a charger for each battery type.
Kudos to K&F CONCEPT for eliminating the need for a separate battery charger. This battery has a USB-C input that allows you to charge the battery from any source of USB power. I tested the battery life and I did not really see any difference between the K&F CONCEPT and my OEM Fuji battery. I should note that the OEM battery is about a year old, so it has probably degraded somewhat whereas the K&F CONCEPT is new. As for recharge time, it took under 3 hours to go from a dead to fully charged.
I did try to recharge the K&F CONCEPT with the OEM Fuji charger and got no errors, so if you want to use a standard charger, you can. Personally, I'll be replacing all of my W-235 batteries with these as they age and lose the ability to hold a decent charge.

This particular battery model boasts a highly practical feature - a USB-C charging port that is built into its design. It should also be noted that this battery model has a marginally higher capacity than the original OEM battery. Great value for the money. I will highly recommend it.
