I have no experience at all with microscopes so I found this little mini one strange to use at first. However, having the included slides was really helpful. Two of the plant ones are amazing and the others are all interesting and show more detail than I was expecting. I found it difficult to move the microscope the counter-intuitive way at first but it only takes a bit of practice to get that right. I found it hard to keep the microscope still over the part I was looking at, but more practice might help that. I haven’t tried using it to look at other items yet but have that to look forward to, and also to using it with our granddaughter.

This is cool and I got it for my 5 year old. Sadly he got frustrated as he couldn't see clearly and had no patience, so my 11 year old started using this and loves it. Especially because it comes with different slides. Very small and comes with little carry pouch. Lense is very clear and easy to see slides and all little bits.

This pocket microscope works really well. My 9 year old granddaughter was grossed out by the fly mouthparts slide, but was fascinated by others and is usung it to look at all sorts of items up close.
It is light and easily portable, the light is good, it comes with a selection of different prepared slides, and focuses well.

I like that it comes with different slides, such as a fly mouth part, honeybee foreleg, tilia stem, etc. This is a great gift idea as it is unique and educational. Overall, the quality is excellent and recommendable.

A lovely pocket battery powered microscope it comes with travel bag, cloth and preprepared microscope slides. Good level of focus and zoom control means I can get a clear detailed up close view of things with my children.

I like the idea of a mini microscope, so kids can build their explore while out and about. It requires a battery for the light and also comes with some samples which kids can view under the microscope and learn about.

Any child which likes science will love this, it works so well and the focus works great.
I managed to get my phone focused to take a photo of a box and some trousers and you can see every fibre.
Great for the price and would make a cracking gift for a child.

I love this small microscope, I keep it in my pocket when taking my grandchildren to the park.
It is very easy to focus first then zoom in and refocus if necessary. The dials for both zoom and focus are easy to turn.
Teaching science and nature whilst having fun. My grandchildren have tried it on leaves, flowers even the feather from a duck. It comes with some prepared slides but to be honest they want to find their own things to look at. Seeing tiny insects in the soil and on the inside of a plant leaf.
