Great ND filter, very good quality and perfect results. I needed a filter to record under noon time light, and decided to give this filter a try, no regrets!

I got this to go with the Sony 70-200 F4 lens (72mm). It fits it does what it is suppose to do and it doesn't soften the image too much. I got it because I film lacrosse games for our local lacrosse team (which I have 3 players on). I wanted to switch to using my Sony a7III. I have used a ND filter kit in the past for my Panasonic GH5. The individual filters work but they are a pain if the lighting conditions change a lot during a game. So for the new setup I wanted to switch to a variable ND filter. It does work but I cannot reattach the lens hood and that can cause problems depending on where the sun is and where I have to setup. If the sun is behind me, no problem. if I have to shoot where it is to either side of me I can't use the lens without a hood. So I will keep this in my kit and use it when I can, but I am going to ultimately have to get a filter set that will allow me to use the hood on that lens. If you can get a bigger hood, or don't need one then this variable ND filter will work great. It will just depend on your situation.

As long as you know you won't likely be able to use the full range, this is a good deal (see video). The "X" pattern is almost certainly a sure thing with this kind of range. Still, the price is right.

This filter is great. I've used static filters quite a bit but haven't used variables much. I love the motion of this one it glides very nicely. It has a great result and is well made. It doesn't add much weight to my camera either. And the carrying case is a nice addition since I don't leave it on my camera all of the time. Its a nice product and would definitely buy again.

This variable ND filter by K&F Concept is really well made. The threads and fit are perfect and the optical quality is better than I would expect at this price point. I like the convenience that a variable ND filter provides and this one has enough of a range to meet all of my needs. There are no hard stops on the setting, but the rings are stiff enough to stay where I set it and I don't have to worry about accidentally changing the setting if I bump it. As with other K&F Concept products, the included individually packaged cleaning cloths are also a nice addition. Overall, I'm very happy with this filter.

I recently got the 11-Stops Variable ND Filter, and this is another great product from K&F. They continue to deliver high quality, low cost products for photography enthusiast.

The ability to tailor light reduction from ND2 to ND2000 (1-stop to 11-stop) provides me with the ultimate flexibility. The glass seems to be of high quality and filter feels durable and has a nice heft to it. The threads work well and fits my 72mm Sigma perfectly. I appreciate the Wide Compatibility of this filter, fitting all 72mm lenses. Verifying the lens thread size is a breeze, and the added bonus of requiring a 77mm lens cap is a thoughtful touch.

In conclusion, the 11-Stops Variable ND Filter has exceeded my expectations in every way.

This filter is very made of aluminum, slim and very light. Very well constructed.
Because this filter is 52mm , but designed to fit a 50mm size lens, you will not be able to :
1. attach your lens cap (maybe a 52mm lens cap would fit)
2. attach your lens hood
3. attach any other filters to this one. You are able to attach 50mm filters to your lens, and then stack THIS one onto those filters. I did this with my CPL filter, but found it difficult because I had to rotate the CPL , and then rotate the Variable ND filter, so I removed the CPL for now.
Also, I need to investigate whether it is even advisable to use a CPL and ND together because of the low-light.

It is really a nice feature of this filter to incorporate 1 to 11 stops on this one variable filter. It makes it easy to dial to the stop that you want to use, but I found it a little confusing. The stops are labeled with Min on one end, Max on the other , and 8 dots in between.
So I'm not really sure what dot corresponds to what ND stop, there are supposed to be 11 stops, but there are only 10 markings.
Also , there is no lock at the beginning or end of the 10 stop markings.

Anyway , I've been experimenting and getting to learn how to use it.
I see how it it very convenient to have only ONE Variable filter, instead of several. Much less exptensive, much less complicated. But it is going to take me a little bit of time to learn how to use it efficiently.

I’ve mainly been using this ND filter on my Rokinon 16mm T/2.2 cine lens and it works like a charm. No weird color shifting or distortion to my images. Easily screws on/off, smooth rotating ring. No hard stops, but that’s to be expected from a budget friendly filter. Overall I’ve grown to love K&F products and this ND works great & has more than enough stops to help me achieve the proper exposure
Perfect budget ND for my setup!

The variable range from ND2 to ND2000 is what sets this filter apart. It allows me to adjust the amount of light entering the lens with precision, providing excellent control over exposure and depth of field. This versatility is particularly useful for shooting long exposures in bright daylight or achieving a cinematic look in video by maintaining a wider aperture.

The build quality is impressive. The filter feels robust, and the threading fits perfectly on my 67mm lenses, making it easy to attach and remove without any hassle. The nano-coating is a fantastic addition – it's not only waterproof but also helps to reduce lens flare and ghosting, ensuring crisp and clear images.

One of the features I appreciate the most is the minimal color cast. Many ND filters tend to alter the color balance, but this one maintains true color fidelity, saving me time in post-processing.

The filter's impact on sharpness is negligible, which is a testament to its optical quality. I've used it on various lenses and have consistently been pleased with the clarity and detail in my images.

The main reason you want a variable filter is to use it at different setting. It cast a very strong color ( like a wide violet stripe ) at high setting . Better to buy a fixed one if you need a filter above ND512 or so. I am returning it immediately !
