52mm Solar Filter ND1000000,20-Stop Solid Neutral Density Filter Celestial Event Photography Filter with 28 Multi-Layer Coatings for DSLR Camera Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2576V1
This filter is made well and comes in a great carrying case. It seems silly that a filter case can be special, but this one is really good. As for the filter, a 16-stop ND is a powerful creative tool, but it's not for the faint of heart. It takes seeing the filter in person and calculating exposures to fully grasp how much 16-stops is in practice. I have had exposures easily reach multiple minutes, and because the exposure is so long, it allows for some unique and creative opportunities. Busy cityscapes can turn into ghost towns, or clouds or water can get extra smooth. One of the ways I want to experiment with this filter is shallow depth of field long exposures. Oftentimes, long exposures are of landscapes with smaller apertures, but since this is a 16-stop ND, lower aperture settings can be used to create a shallower depth of field while still having the characteristics of long exposure photography like smooth skies and water. It opens up a lot of possibilities to push my photography further and it brings back the excitement of experimentation. I just need to make sure to bring something to keep myself busy while I wait for the exposures to finish!

Very handy filter. Works very well to photograph the Sun. You can capture decent detail on the surface of the Sun when using this filter with a long telephoto lens. The images were photographed with a Nikon D850 and a 200-500mm lens. I have several solar filters and I like this one a lot. When shooting the Sun, be sure to use live view. Unlike telescope solar filters which block UV and IR, camera lens solar filters make no mention of blocking these, so best to err on the side of caution and use live view to set position and focus and not the viewfinder. This will protect your eyes from possible damage. This will be a great filter to use for the upcoming North American eclipse.

Darkest filter I've ever tried as I'm fleshing out my kit. Was thinking with a fast lens and stable long exposure could get some decent shots - that has proven a little more challenging than originally thought. But those results not terrible. For bright light sources, this really shines (get it?). I'm not often taking the types of pictures this is aimed at but for those in the market for this style of lens it is quite nice and since 95mm filters aren't usually cheap this is priced nicely, in my opinion, of course the smaller sizes being much easier to stomach. All in all, if you're looking for a quality filter, this one ticks all the boxes for me in this category.

after a quick test using a Sony a6400 with 200mm, I was able to see some sun spots and camera is intact.
Need more tries to get a clearer picture, but preparing for the eclipse!!
Note. I edited a little the picture, original will be seen almost white

This is the third K&F filter that I own and I have to say they do not disappoint. I don't know why people spend upwards 300.00 for professional filters that do the same as this ones. I got this one fitted to my Sony 100-400 G master paired with a Sony A-1 and they do wonders with long exposure light effects or solar photos. I believe this had to be one of the nicest 16 stops filters on the market. I have not found a difference yet on those so called solar filters that protect you camera sensors, you are not exposing the sensor continually when taking a solar pic anyway.

First of all, if you are using a DSLR, do not use this to look at the sun. If you are looking for something like that, get a pair of glasses that are certified for solar observation. As a lens filter on a mirrorless camera, however, this is great. I'm able to get nice sharp shots of the sun without worrying that I might damage the sensor.
Will I use this during the eclipse? I'm not sure yet. I haven't decided on what lens to use. But if I use one with a 77mm diameter, you know this guy is going on it.

Picked up this 100000ND ND Filter ahead of the upcoming solar eclipse. I tested it out a bit on a bright sunny day with the sun high in the sky. I was able to capture the sun with ease. It's going to take a few more times to get it dialed in as I've never shot with a 100000 ND filter before I ordered this. The build quality on this is top-notch. It comes in their new round filter case so I know it's safe and sound which is good because I know I'll be ready for that solar eclipse. K&F makes some of my favorite filters. I don't find much if any color shift. They are a high-quality filter at a good price. This is a niche filter so spending a good amount of money on a filter like this would be crazy. I think K&F filters allow you to be able to invest in a good filter without breaking the bank and still giving you an awesome look and high-quality images.

EPIC FILTER CASE WITH LINED RUBBER CIRCULAR SHAPE, SAVE A TONE OF $$ WITH THIS ND FILTER
K & F Concept has been around for a long time as a company making phenomenal gear.
They make everything from entry-level gear to professional COMMERICAL GRADE regarding various tripods, accessories, and other products.
Also, I've been in Photography for over 20 years.
I own three cameras from Canon (R3 x2 R5), totaling $15,000, and over $20,000 in RF glass with multiple accessories to shoot podcasts for professional events, motorsports, fighting conferences, and sporting events.
Moab, Utah, is one of my favorite places to shoot in the US.
It's always a challenge shooting into the sun at 5000+ feet; this is the perfect lens filter for that application.
I've purchased other filers that cost five times the amount of this one, which performs better.
One of my favorite aspects about the filter is how light it is!
I had to do a double take and read the description to ensure this was glass and not plastic.
Another thing I fell in love with is the cases.
I've had lens cases from the TOP 10 manufacturers in the world, and nothing compares to a case like this,
No matter what lens you use, it fits perfectly; it has a rubber indentation mark in the center to ensure the filter is locked in.
They have everything from 82mm down to a 43 mm filter that can fit into the case and is semi-translucent.
Based on this new system, I will order 10 cases and use a label maker to label all my lenses.
It's hard to explain my excitement when I opened the package and saw this case because it's one of the biggest challenges of being a photographer, especially good at shooting in the desert or extreme weather environments.
This is a perfect way to organize my lenses when shooting landscape photography.
As far as cleaning the actual filter, it's relatively easy.
I use professional Lint-free ultrasoft wipes, found here on Amazon.
If you do not use these to clean lenses and filters, it's a game changer.
One of the biggest challenges is keeping lenses and filters clean and lint-free.
My three favorite parts are that it's 8K, waterproof, and has an anti-scratch coating.
I can't tell you how many times I've dropped a camera in the middle of nowhere, and the sphere of the current UV filter I have on there gets scratched up.
I'm looking forward to trying several high-end filters from K & F and becoming an ambassador for the company one day.
I can shoot more in Moab, Utah, and where I live. It is -10 out, and the last thing I want to do is freeze.
As a side note, the lowest I've ever shot is -10° -30 wind chill.
I'll be posting a 30-day supplemental review.

I ordered this filter to fit my Sigma 150-600mm telephoto lens with the 95mm filter size. And this filter screwed on to it perfectly. It appears to be made of high quality materials and I am looking forward to the total solar eclipse in April. I have no complaints or issue. It is a quality filter.

I have many K&F Concept filters and they perform very well. Excellent clarity, good with reflections, etc.
This filter is truly for a single purpose, taking incredible shots of the sun. 16.6 stops is fixed, so no other purpose. You can make some incredible shots with compositing by getting a clean shot of the sun with this filter and then a properly exposed shot of your subject.
