Well made , sturdy and perfect for the job I wanted it for - fitting a Canon M6 to a window ledge for long exposures. My only criticism is there are no instructions with it explaining how to attach the fittings for Go Pros and mobile phones. I won't be using them so not a problem for me but if you get it for these purposes you might struggle to work out how to use the attachments.

This is a great clamp and arm and definitely feels strong and sturdy enough for my several thousand dollars cameras. I wish the arm had more of a reach. but you also lose sturdiness and strength when lengthened so this size feels just right.
It clamps well, the arm locks down tight with the twisting knob. Overall, easily 5 stars!

Fab bit of kit to compliment the K&F concept tripod. I use a remote shutter most times I shoot. And this is great for holding my phone like a separate viewing screen . Well built and looks really cool . I would highly recommend

This magic arm comes so handy. It can clamp on almost any tripod and the ball heads lock tight, so I feel very confident having it loading my monitor on it. We all know K&F has been out for many years and I have used their products over the years and found that they are reliable. I recommend that the production team keep one of these magic arms in their pocket for whatever needs.

I bought this as a way to attach my camera to the pole on an older enlarger so that I could make copy stand for 'scanning' 35mm and 120 negative film. Due to the size and surface of the enlarger stand, I found that the clamp's grip wasn't quite as solid as I'd have liked, but after a couple of months trial I have found that the camera is stable for my purposes. For transparency, I'm holding a Fuji XT2 camera with 7Artisans 60/2.8 macro lens with the clamp, set so that the clamp is holding the camera and lens at right angles to the baseboard. This is probably the most demanding angle that you could use the clamp for, and whilst there is a little play, it doesn't slip and since I'm using a remote release cable there is no danger of accidentally moving it out of alignment. I'm not sure about the 5Kg maximum loading claim under these particular circumstances, but for most purposes I think it would be fine. I like the concept and it appears to be quite well executed but is not quite the 'super clamp' system I'd hoped for, but in practice is doing the job. My original review was a little more critical but in hindsight since I got it to work for me I'm satisfied and an update was appropriate.

Magic arms are an awesome mounting tool for photographers and videographers. K&F did a great job with this one. The quality and operation are top notch. The super clamp works well on all surfaces I've tried it with. The only downside is that the magic arm is a little short, which may limit the usefulness for some people or situations. I think it's a nice option, because I already had a longer one so this is just fills a different need. Overall I think its a nice mounting option for creatives.

I have tested the K&F mount on several surfaces now and in different iterations. Happy to report it clamps down well on everything (assuming you can get even just a bit of clamping pressure). Wood, metal and stone are all fine surfaces to clamp too, (including wet mossy stone).
The clamp comes with enough small additions for you to mount most major mainstream branded items should you require. I only used my phone with the provided clip and was happy to say it performed very well. Held my phone in places whilst still be able to access the exterior buttons on the device.
The clamp itself is easy to use. Just a simple twist screw design. The grip is a nice textured rubber grip which sticks nicely. A solid metal construction overall. Recommended as a great addition to camera set ups as can be easily mounted on pre-exising hardware as well as the natural environment around.
