It works great to take photos/videos, e.g. for my child's soccer games. Easy to carry around, except the carrying bag is not big enough for an additional phone bracket/adaptor (purchased separately). I can still zip it up partially, allowing part of the adaptor to stick out. Something for the seller to improve on.

I wanted a (comparatively) tall monopod but reviews on this and similar items complain about the 1/4-20 camera mount popping or twisting off. As soon as this kf concept Basic arrived I installed a 1/4-20 coupling nut - see photo - and gave it a couple good yanks. it didn't budge. I don't think I'd want to wave it around with a 2000mm tele attached, but it seems adequate for my amateur use. I got what I paid for.
Camera attachment seems OK ...

The hand strap must be made for a small woman as it does not even come close to fitting in my my hand.

Works fine, only I am a bit tall (5'10") so for astronomy I can't stand up with the binocs aimed overhead or at steep angles even with this monopod. I have to spread the feet or sit. Not all NZers are hobbits I am afraid!

This is a nice inexpensive monopod for a Amateur photographer- but it needs a good ball head if you ask me. Since this doesn't have a quick release plate- It becomes awkward to carry the camara with a stick stuck to the bottom. The quality is okay - but, I would advice you order a ball head along with this to make it more practical to use.
