This solar trail camera works great. Previous trail cameras I have owned have had two main drawbacks. 1) the camera would use disposable batteries extremely fast and 2) you would have to open the camera to review the photos (via the internal screen or pull the SD card to review the photos with another device).

Kentfaith camera resolves both of these issues.
Having a built in solar panel and internal battery is substantially better than relying solely on disposable batteries (although the camera also accomodates 4-AA batteries for low light situations). The camera also has wifi/bluetooth connectivity which is convenient so I dont have to open the device to review the photos. I can simply connect my phone via bluetooth/wifi to review the photos.

While historically, I use these type cameras for hunting, I tested this one for livestock and security uses. I attached the camera to my goat shed and then to my main entrance gate (for a better feel of what movement would set off the motion triggered funtions of the camera). The camera takes very clear close proximity photos (like the picture of my goat, Larry) and also takes very crisp pictures of vehicles/animals that come through the gate.

The photos and vidoes were downloaded directly from the camera via wifi with no modification or enhancement. I am very pleased with the clarity, resolution and color contrast of the photos/videos!

I bought this for my husband’s birthday and he loves it. Took him a minute to figure out how to see the pictures but once he downloaded the app, the instructions recommended, all was good.

A little complicated to set but once you get the hang of it this is an awesome bit of kit it’s very sensitive and is pretty much stealth to humans as well as animals ..

I love this trail camera. It has been useful for my elk scouting. The solar charger makes it so much lower maintenance than other cameras. The quality of pictures is very good. Easy to set up and use.

Fast delivery, easy to use, great pictures - even at night (though the motif leaves something to be desired) - and good customer service.

The camera is delivered in printed cardboard packaging. The camera is well made and really very compact and unobtrusive. The camera is powered by 8xAA batteries. Alongside the camera, a 32GB micro SD card, a fastening strap and a USB cable are also included. In the battery compartment on the back you will also find the SD slot and a switch for configuration and switching on. I was surprised by the image quality - the images are relatively sharp and usable. At night, an area of 5-8 meters in front of the camera is illuminated and is easily visible. A really nice feature of the camera for me is the screen - you can view the images and videos you have taken directly on the camera without having to transfer them to a PC. In my opinion, anyone looking for a compact wildlife camera with a usable image can go here.

So far the device has performed flawlessly. It’s great not to have to replace batteries every few days, In fact so far I haven’t replaced any since the camera was put into service.. The image quality is superb. The only grip I have is with the tripod mount being on the back side of the camera which makes it inconvenient for use on camera mounting sticks.

I bought a different trail camera several years ago which worked OK, but it took eight AA batteries which ran down very quickly. So, when that camera died I was attracted to this one because of the solar power. It works great! I've mounted the camera in many different locations, sunny and shady, and the battery indicator always shows 100%. I've captured night pictures of small animals like rabbits, raccoons, and opossums, as well as large animals like deer. (And people.)

I bought this camera two monthes ago and did not immediately rate it because I experienced intermittent problems connecting my phone to it over WiFi. The problem seemed to be limited to my particular phone model (Google Pixel 6) and the Tech Support folks were very responsive. An update soon fixed the problem, but I waited a while to review it to make certain no other problems cropped up.

Excellent camera, have owned 2 previous ones and this is my favourite by far!
