SKU: SKU.2252
The K&F Concept ND Filter Kit,
there are only 2 brands of filter i use for my drones another brand i will not name and of course K&F. This kit including ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64, is a game-changer for FPV pilot, Compatible with the DJI Avata 2, these filters are a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their drone videos.
Build Quality and Design Crafted with top-notch optical glass, the filters promise uncompromised image quality. The ultra-lightweight design ensures that the drone’s gimbal remains safe and unburdened, allowing for smooth operation and extended flight times.
Performance Each filter serves its purpose beautifully:
ND8: Perfect for partly cloudy days, it helps to slow down the shutter speed by 3 f-stops without altering the colour balance.
ND16: Ideal for midday or mild sun scenarios, offering a 4-stop reduction in light for crisp footage.
ND32: Steps up the game under bright sunlight, cutting down light by 5 f-stops.
ND64: For extreme sunny conditions, this filter allows a 6-stop reduction, enabling the capture of stunning, motion-blurred images.
Functionality The filters are not just about reducing light. The UV filter protects the lens and reduces ultraviolet reflections, restoring true colours. The CPL filter eliminates glare from non-metallic surfaces, enhancing colour and contrast in bright conditions.
Ease of Use Switching between filters is fast and simple , and the impact on image quality is immediately noticeable. The drone’s calibration remains unaffected, and the filters stay securely in place during flight.

I have many DJI drones and use K&F and other mid range brands for my ND filters.
These ND filters, as you would expect from K&F, do not distort or discolour the footage.
A test is always needed with new filters to be sure they do not affect the gimbal calibration or operation and I'm glad to say these filters do neither.
If you want to be confident at achieving cinematic motion blur without compromise, you can trust these filters.

This set of four ND Nano-X Series Filters for the DJI Avata 2 arrive sealed, in a nice looking, K&F Concept branded, cardboard box, that would be more than suitable should you be wishing to give it as a gift.
The filters themselves feel well made and have a good finish throughout.
They attach by snapping them onto the lens of your Avata 2. Due to the their small size and the delicate nature of the gimbal, it can feel a little unnerving to push them so they snap on the first time you try, but you soon get used to the idea that this method works without damaging the gimbal.
Talking of the gimbal, their light weight design doesn’t cause any issues with the operation of the gimbal itself.
It’s great that they come in a protective plastic case with foam insert, but given how thin these filters are, the case could have been a lot thinner and still offered the same protection without taking as much space in your bag.
Neutral-Density (ND) filters reduce the amount of light that is transmitted through the lens. They have two main uses on drones. Firstly to reduce the chances of overexposure, glare and colour issues in very bright lighting conditions. And secondly to allow you to reduce the shutter speed to get a smoother, more cinematic, motion blur. This kit contains an ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 filter, which reduce the amount of light transmitted to the lens by 3, 4, 5 and 6 Stops respectively.
In use the filters worked well, given their price point. If you pixel peep then there is some very slight image degradation, but nothing you would notice under normal viewing conditions. There is also a very slight colour shift on the ND32 and ND64 filters, but again, nothing you would notice under normal conditions, and something easily fixed in post if you really need to.
In conclusion, this is a nice set of ND filters for the Avata 2. Whilst image quality isn’t perfect, it will be more than acceptable for 99% of users, and nothing you can really complain about at this price point. My only real complaint is that I wish the case was more compact. It’s also a pity that DJI constantly change the design of their lenses so that the chances of ever being able to use these filters on anything other than the Avata 2 are slim, but that’s an issue with DJI’s business practices, rather than the filters themselves

With a polarising filter and an nd8 and 16 you're covered for reasonably bright days, the pl filter is great for adding saturation and smoothing out reflections and the nd filters help reduce shutter speed on bright days for a nice cinematic effect, they are well made and fit well.

This K&F Concept filter will take your DJI drone pictures and videos to another level, pun intended. Fitting the filter is pretty straightforward and it feels secure. Importantly there’s zero effect on the gimbal when the filter is fitted.

These are really good filters at a brilliant price. They fit my Avata, and are super-light, so don't impact it all while in the air. Very easy to get on and off, too. Best of all is that they work really well, especially the ND filter when photographing bodies of water in bright sunlight. Definitely recommended!

PROS
-great set of filters for cinematic video
-snap on and off easily, but are very secure
-filters are very light
-pretty good value
CONS
-slight colour cast with all 3 filters (but can be corrected in post)
-polariser can’t be rotated to optimum performance
NOTES
-ND16 isn’t very strong, hopefully K&F will come out with 32 and 64 variants soon
MY STAR RATINGS:
1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

A very nice trio of filters that fit well, don't affect the handling of the drone and, more importantly, stay attached when pushing it to its limits, the only way to fly the Avata!
From my limited flights with them so far I see no aberration or vignetting in the recorded video so am more than happy to give them a
