A good starter tripod. It's built well, albeit with pretty thin and loose legs. The coloring reminds me of Gordon Freeman from Half Life. The main legs are less than an inch wide so you can imagine by the time you expand it all the way the final expansions pretty thin.

The head movement is smooth and great, and dampening it a little with the controls was quick and easy to do. The knob for the tilt function is pretty and fully metal but it would of been nice to have rubber on it. It's a little brutal to adjust in the cold or wetness.

The bag the tripod comes with is pretty great and nice quality. In fact it's all really nicely built for the cost.

It's not a "Last tripod you would ever own" tripod, but it's a pretty good one that is both aesthetically pretty and functional. It does have a lot of spare features like the detachable monopod leg, hook on the center column, and reverse collapsibility that make it that much more awesome.
A nice starter video tripod for smaller rigs. Wouldn't suggest it for heavier rigs A nice starter video tripod for smaller rigs. At this time there are hundreds of five-star reviews and K&F has developed a reputation for quality in my mind. This is a sturdy, capable tripod and deserves a look.
It is not small or particularly light. At it's shortest it's still about 22" long. The bag it comes with is quality and spacious enough that it's not a pain to put in.
The feet are rubber and unscrew for replacement or (I guess) leveling. There's no spikes. Leg clamps are the flip-up type and are sturdy.
The top part of the tripod is an absolute mass of knobs for adjusting it every which way. Five knobs are required for positioning, a sixth for the arca base (for which a very nice medium-size base is included), and a seventh for rotating the positioning handle out of the way. You'll be using this one a lot, because it seems like in every configuration I was bumping something into something else. Quick configuration changes are not likely, but you can almost definitely find the position you need.
The minimum height is pretty high, but the overhead arm can be angled down, or the whole central column can be reversed by unscrewing the weight hanger.
Getting it all put back in the bag requires slotting the horizontal arm into the vertical tube, then getting all the parts lined up. Like a drum cymbal stand, if you've every used one of those.
The top head is spring-loaded for some reason, to return to level-ish (or rather perpendicular to the horizontal tube).
One of the legs comes off to use as a monopod; you'll have to detach most of the top to use as a head, making a fairly cumbersome contraption (I don't need a pan head with a monopod). But it works.
Overall four stars. It's very well made but (I think) tries to do too much.

This tripod is well made and very versatile. The engineering is amazing and it's so easy to work. Very sturdy and brings a new level to making quality videos. Will certainly be buying more accessories from this seller.

Initial impressions seem good. I ran into two issues, 1. no instructions. Shows they are supposed to be part of the packaging, but I didn't have any. Also there are no instructions for the FH-03 head. None on K&F's website either. 2. The quick release plate is locked in place with hex screws. The 3 Allen wrenches supplied do not fit the screws. Luckily I have others and was able to remove them, so now I have a quick release plate and extra screws. If I had instructions maybe they would have told me about them and what to do with them.

This is a perfectly solid tripod that folds up nice and small. All of the material is metal and the color scheme is refreshing to me. I like that even the handle is smaller while still being useful. Everything about this exudes usefulness and practicality while having a high level of quality.

As others have noted, this is one heck of a solid tripod, even if it's — gasp! — made in China. It's heavy enough not to shake, but not so heavy that it's annoying to carry.

It has the usual bells and whistles you'd expect, and the motion is fluid. The drawback, though, is that the adjustment handle is only for positioning the camera — you don't turn it to loosen the head.

That means you have to loosen the correct know for to allow tilting or panning, and there are a LOT of knobs because you can also raise or lower it. It sounds like a small complaint, but in the field you'll find a lot of fussing — "Is it this knob? Is it that?" — and wondering why the handle doesn't do anything.

All that said, once you get used to dealing with the complex 'interface,' it's a fine bit of kit. But I think the engineers need to redesign those features.

The K&F Concept OverHead Camera Tripod is a robust and versatile tool for any photographer. Its flexible design allows for various shooting angles, and the quick-release plate makes swapping cameras a breeze. The tripod is lightweight yet sturdy, perfect for both indoor and outdoor shoots. Some users mentioned the height adjustment takes a bit of getting used to, but overall, it's a great investment.
