I like this better than the other casual digital microscopes I've reviewed. The device works well, has its own display, and produces decent images. You literally need nothing else to start using it. It's USB chargeable, which is nice as well. What I like most is that there are 2 ways of placing it --- and they provide stands for them. It's a great kids' kit for the price.

I could not believe how beautiful the pine stem looks under the microscope. When I looked at the slide it just looked like a dot on slide but under the microscope, it is so beautiful. This little portable microscope is awesome, it's way more powerful than I thought it would be. I also like that I can take pictures and videos of the things I'm looking at and save them. This opens up a whole new world to me. Ordinary things are now extraordinary.
