K&F Concept 2 Pack NP-F970 Battery with LED Charger, Compatible with Sony NP-F550 F570 F750 F770 F930 F950 F960 F970, High-Power LED Lights, Monitors, Camera Sliders, and More
SKU: KF28.0047
This K&F Concept NP-F970 battery has a capacity of 10.5Ah and just plugs into any compatible device. On the top are a series of lights and a button such that you can tell the current charge status of the battery when pressing the button.
Normally, these units are charged by putting them into a charger which derives its power from a USB A plug which, by its nature, is a little more limited than USB C's power capacity. Whilst you can charge it with a normal charger that you slot them battery into, this one also has the capability of charging it with a USB C socket that is mounted on the end of the unit. This then has the ability to recharge substantially faster than the other method.
Additionally, this also has a USB A socket mounted in the opposite end to the USB C socket and you can use this to charge up something else so you can also use this as a power bank if you need to.
These batteries are very useful to have around as they can be used for running LED lighting units upto around the 60 watt mark (usually paired) as an alternative to using a D-Tap block.

USB-C rechargeable NP-F type batteries aren't a new concept at all but I think these push it a notch further. This battery has an USB-C port that does 20W input or output, and a USB-A port that does about 10W output. Both USB ports can be used at the same time, and as output (such as when used as a power bank) the USB-C port will drop to about 15W. All this is possible also while the battery is plugged in to a NP-F interface!
So although the price is a little steep; there are definitely cheaper options out there, this K&F one is a really solid choice and doesn't seem to self-discharge at too much of a rapid rate. 20W PD is also really convenient and ensures that the battery can be charged at a decent speed, even if it won't be the highest speed out there for similar products.
Overall, more expensive than other less well-recognized brands but an excellent choice for powering your lights and accessories, as well as use as a power bank.

Nice battery, works perfectly and lasts a long time. I have many NP batteries and other batteries of these dimensions, are only 7800 mAh, so if this is in fact 30% larger capacity, its a super value. I have no way of scientifically testing, but I am very happy with this battery as it ran my BMPCC6K for a few hours on a hot summer day.
I am a fan of K&F Concept products, every one I have bought has been very high quality
