Love the design of the earbuds, they wrap behind the ear to hold, I love the design, they are very secure when worn. Highly recommend these translator earbuds for people like me who don't speak a second language. I downloaded the app and it took some getting used to but it works great. It helps me a lot with my work.

I recently traveled to Brazil, and do not speak Portuguese at all.... I used these and they did great!! In my opinion easier than Google translate, and at least as effective if not better, and the "free speak" mode is amazing!!! I was having full conversations with friends without having to type every word in a translator. My only complaint is I wish they had a wider "offline" offering

I was skeptical as to how well these ear bids would work but I turned on a Netflix movie to give them a dry run. They worked well, especially when the conversations weren't quick exchanges. These will be very helpful on my upcoming trip to Costa Rica, I will be driving there and will need to interact with people that will most likely not speak English. I feel much more confident going there with these earbuds!

This device is a very helpful and convenient electronic translator! I am excited to receive it. I have installed the App. I have tested it with my friends with Mandarin, English, Japanese, and French, their responses were very positive, they were all amazed how helpful and convenient it is. I tested its 3 modes: touch mode, free talk mode and speaker mode, all worked very well.
I also tried it to listen to music, and make/receive phone calls, the sound quality is pretty good too. The open-ear style is also comfortable to wear compared to in-ear style and won't fall.
This is a very useful tool for me, because I travel a lot around the world both for business and pleasure, I am going to Europe next month, so I will test it extensively in several foreign language environments and will update the review after my return.
In general, I like the earbuds very much, would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little help in learning/using common foreign languages.
There are 8 offline languages, it's very useful when you are traveling in some foreign countries with poor cell phone signals/without WIFI services.

I am very impressed!. It takes a little playing around with in order to understand how to use them, because there are a few different options for using.
First of all, you need to download the app in order to use the earbuds.
If you are trying to talk with another person, each person puts an earbud in. You set the two languages you are trying to communicate in.
There is an option to tap the earbud and start speaking, and then the app translates for the other person into their language.
There is another option that you wear the earbud and touch it to speak, the translated voice will play from the phone speaker, you should tap the screen for the other peoson to speak, then you can hear the translated language from the earbud. That version a person has to be actively using the app.
The last option is the one i use most, and it would me the easiest option...two persons wear earbud each, just tap "start conversation" on the app to freely talk. You both don't have to touch the earbud, it's very convenient. Sometimes the translation can be inflenced by other people's voice around, but not a big deal.
Overall, these are very impressive if you have some translation purposes.

I was a native English speaker and it picked up what I was saying very easily. I do not necessarily have any type of regional American accent, but speak pretty standard. I know some Hebrew so I tried translating with Hebrew, which I know I have an American accent with. I am really surprised how it picks up my words and is right every time!

My daughter and son-in-law are missionaries and hold several trainings for other countries and always have a hard time finding someone to translate for them. With these it will make things much easier. These are so amazing and the cost is very affordable.
