This light stand is terrific! I’ve gotten so used to the inexpensive, aluminum stands that this stand shocked me (in a good way.) I have several of the "cheapo" stands that I use for speed lights which are very light. Now I have a heavy strobe + a large soft box which is substantially heavier than my speed lights. The new stand handles the extra poundage with the greatest of ease. I love it!

Nice service tripod. Metal rods, quite solid but also light in the context. The joints are made of plastic but seem to be of excellent quality, they tighten well and without particular effort. Feet with rubber at the ends and excellent riveting. Supplied with a convenient case, economic but functional.
I mounted a 400W studio flash on it, one of the heavy ones, I think, a couple of kg. The stand behaved well, not distorting excessively when moved. Of course, we are talking about a product with a highly competitive price, obviously in the professional sector there are even more stable products, but the price is growing and even by a lot.
I think this K&F Concept easel is a great alternative. Perfect for budding and professional photographers alike.

I have owned a LOT of light stands in my day. This option from brand K&F CONCEPT, in terms of quality control and durability, shows the brand makes a strong effort to support creatives.
There is a mix of strong aluminum and plastic construction here, the poles are metal, the twist tighteners and raisers are plastic. And while it is not the most dense metal ever, it seems to be a sturdy and well-conceived stand for the purpose it serves. I have tested it so far with a few options, and can easily imagine that for any general medium-sized softbox and flash combo, this light stand will hold its own just fine.
As I am normally accustomed to the standard black aluminum stands with plastic twists and raisers, this one was a pleasant surprise as it is clearly a slightly higher quality than many others I have used. You don't hear any whiny sounds during the adjustment, you just lift and tighten, simple as can be. One thing I didn't expect was how high it actually raises. I knew the specs, I just didn't really realize there was one more raise height, for a total of three raises, and yet it still remains very sturdy and secure.
It also comes with a light but good enough carrying case for travel, and beyond that, there's not much that can be said about light stands beyond this. They are either great, or they are just not. This one is, so far, a very decent stand for photographers who use artificial sources to light their subjects. It is as simple as that. A good light tripod is worth its weight in gold. Fortunately, this one is pretty light, and also quite affordable. A solid 5 stars for what it is.

I removed the top 2 sections, it is now perfect for use as a wind flag base. Great stability with 34" spread on legs!

Well made. Materials are nice and sturdy. Appreciate the wide base so it's very stable. Knobs are made of plastic but they feel solid. Great addition to your video or photography set up for lights, cameras, or phone mounts.

Stand is really nice and sturdy. I bought it mostly for outdoor photography and it would require stand to be not so bulky but still sturdy and it’s exactly what I wanted. Very satisfied with this purchase. I still believe I would need fee sand bags to keep it from toppling especially in windy condition while using Softbox. I will be putting it work soon and will update with my experience.
