This filter has been a great addition to my photography gear. The true color representation is impressive, and there haven't been any color shifts in my images. It's easy to adjust, allowing me to control the exposure smoothly. The build quality feels solid, and it fits perfectly on my lens. I already knew what I was going to get because I use this same filter on my 82mm lens. This lens stops down light by up to 9 stops with minimal color loss and no drop in clarity. This is helpful when shooting in rooms that have especially large windows and bright walls on a sunny day or when standing in a park at noon with no shade.

I am very happy with this filter. It has multiple ranges and it manages light really well. This was especially helpful in those sunny days, with the light bouncing off the body of water where I usually frequent. It gets bright in certain moments.
The cloud details on the filter was much appreciated and the exposure control at certain location and angle was a blessing. This gave me additional options that I didn't have before and I appreciate that. Given its price point, you don’t have to break the bank for an ND filter.

I recently got back into photography and am fairly new to digital photography. Things have come a long ways in the last 20 years! This variable ND filter really kick started my love love of landscape imagery. My Canon R50 is a great little beginner mirrorless camera but I'm limited by its capabilities in very dark/bright light - the filter really helps compensate for that!
My only gripe is that there's no stop at the ends of its range. I've accidentally adjusted it to ND2 or ND400 by simply twisting it beyond the min/max setting. Not a huge deal, but when you're new/still learning, there's a lot that can you by surprise!
That said, I highly recommend this lens filter for the flexibility it offers in bright lighting situations!

Look, I don’t want to over hype this as it’s clearly a budget filter. In general, variable ND filters arr tricky as the adjustments can add in some unwanted effects when capturing footage.
I’m an amateur content creator, however, so I got this to use with my iPhone back camera (I have a cage and adapter to attach filters). For me, this really elevates my ability to get more professional looking footage, so I’m not really focused on the minor issues.
I think it lacks a punch, making it a value for for those who are looking to add this to their kit, but I’m not suggesting that it is ideal for professionals. Still, you can get away with it if you’re clever, which is impressive for a budget filter. Hope this helps!

I love this product because it solves the issue of having to carry around a multitude of different ND filters.
This one does it all - graduating from ND2 to ND400 with a flick of the wrist.
It screws well onto my lens and there's a nice feel to the rotation as you scroll through the filter settings. A convenient marker on the side of the lens shows whcich filter setting you're at - or keep scrolling until you reach the filter strength you want. Saves on having to constantly switch between filters.

To get a very good ND filter you have to pay a lot of money and that only give you just one fade. Variable ND filters are expensive but the results are not too great at the darker end of the fade.
This variable ND filter is good for quick change of fade as it has broad range ND 2-400. For quick and less space this will be good enough.
Unfortunately, like many variables ND filters the darker it gets the more vignetting appears and colours start to take weird turn. This filter makes highlights turn into blueish colour especially all around the outer side of photos.
What I find most annoying is that the adjusting ring goes all the way around the glass and it changes the parts if image lighter and darker. After the last max dot marking the image gets even darker but it turns even more blue.
Overall, it is a reasonable choice for quick fade adjusting but for more and better quality I would stick to single fade filters that maybe are a little bit more expensive but they give more quality to photos.

I got the 82mm as it fits my Sony 24-70 GM II lens. I like the fact that it came with 3 microfibre cleaning cloths and plastic case for storage. This particular filter screws directly onto the end of the lens - not a magnetic fit like some of their higher end models.
Optically, very good - no noticeable chromatic aberrations, no flares or loss of sharpness. My first variable ND filter (despite having been a photographer for 10+ years) - and I'm impressed. I've used non-variable filters in the past - and this means less gear in my bag.
The only downside to this is that due to the construction of my lens and / or the filter, I cannot use a lens hood with this filter attached due to the additional diameter. For the price, this is a bargain - but you get quality results.
