This is probably the best buy. I started to do my little crochet business and needed engrave my logo into leather as custom cost a lot of money. I am not very technical type, so I needed something easy. This laser is strong enough to engrave into wood as well, which I was very nicely surprised. You have app in phone or laptop and it is so easy to use and the engraved pictures are very nice and clear. It is not professional machine, but do it's job and it is very affordable.

This engraver has worked out perfect for the small jobs I use it for. It is a basic engraver but you will still be surprised with what you can do with it. It's for small hobby projects. I can say does what I needed it for.

A good lot of fun for its price. This unit, obviously for the price, has got some major limitations. For anyone just curious about laser etching - this an good introduction piece of hardware. The software can be loaded on a Mac or PC, iPad, iPhone, etc. If you can get past the limitations - this is a fun into. Will etch: paper, card, wood, shell, bone, plastic. Will not etch metal or glass easily. For those one needs more power.

This laser engraver has exceeded my expectations. I am making gifts for nieces and nephews out of leather and wanted to personalize them by laser engraving them. I am using the IOS phone app via Bluetooth and it works great! For my needs and the price, this is an absolute winner!

I was nervous about getting this engraver. I have experience with the bigger name brands and it was a mess and waste of supplies. Kentfaith did not disappoint. It took me a few to upload drivers and program to my computer but it’s fairly self explanatory.The best part is that it will shown you exactly where it plans to cut so you can position your item as perfectly as you can. For the price I paid it more than excelled in what I wanted and needed.The program it self is simple and I do need to make some designs in another program or app and the upload the picture. The large monogram showed up pixelated on the program but when it engraved was smooth lines and nice detail.While this is portable, please please use it in a well ventilated area with a fan near pulling the air away. Because it is portable I am able to take my work to the porch and easily work on it there.The mobile app…. Is less useful. Mostly because it won’t preview, meaning show the exact area where the laser with engrave; so boo for that.As for height adjustments, I bought some not jenga at the dollar tree and glue heights I needed and it works fine~The work area is small but if you are new and just need something to learn on and eventually keep for quick small projects this is definitely worth it.Engraving time… about 5-8 minutes on my pens. And the big monogram with is nearly the full working area for the laser…. About 2 hours. Yes it’s a bit of a long time but considering that I couldn’t get the name brand to do this nice and smoothly, I’m more than happy with the times.I am primarily working on bamboo, and the color of the engraving will vary on the wood, but each is well done and nicely finished. So if some engraves look lighter or darker , it simply the wood itself. I was worried about people not liking it, but most people were so happy getting a personalized item, they didn’t remark on burn variance.I hope this helps you if you really want an engraver but don’t know where to start. While the engraver isn’t exactly plug and play, considering cost and the fact you don’t have to have a subscription to use the program, I find it more than balanced in the work I have to do manually and what the engraver accomplishes.Happy engraving with all your projects~

Just received this birthday gift & boy it was a big move forward from using my old handheld wood burner. After Initial set up which was fast & easy I practiced on a few things with great surprise, love the convenience of its portability & size look forward to producing many great projects in the future.

I was able to engrave card stock, cardboard, wood, and metal. So far so good. Seems to be worth the money.

I’ve only used it on my phone, the iOS app is very easy to use, a lot of templates to choose from, just wish it has the “repeat” button . Tried to print on leather, paper, wooden item, all worked well, printed at a fair speed.
