First off. Ordered 10AM in the morning and it was delivered by Amazon 18:00 that evening, for free, under my Prime membership. No wonder Amazon are now the biggest company in the world with that kind of service. Bravo Amazon.

This adapter, I bought the one to connect my Canon lenses to my Fuji XT-2, is superbly brilliant for the price. It is robust, solid in the hand, and the camera and the lenses fit a treat with a reassuring solid click. Equally easy to remove them afterwards as well. Superb. I can't see why you would need to pay any more.

You will not get autofocus or auto-aperture, so it's back to manual days folks. And in my view thats a good thing sometimes to go back to basics. But, hey, if you are reading this, it's probably because you want to use older, or cheaper manual lenses anyway. In my case , I wanted to use my superb canon-fit Samyang (Rokinon in the USA) F2 135mm on my Fuji XT2. That lens cost me £150 off of ebay. I also have the Samyang 14mm F2.8 as well. I do get some vignetting with that one when wide open, but that the laws of physics, not the fault of the adapter. Guys, to buy the equivalent Fuji lenses is £1000 each! I also will get one of these for my superb 200mm Minolta lens from 1984.

On Fuji XT2 remember to enable focus peaking to help with manual focus and to also enable the "shoot with no lens" option. Google both of these.

This is the third one of these adaptors I have purchased, all K&F. As the first one (MD Minolta) worked fine why risk a cheaper version that may not. The second one was the classic M42 which has the most lenses available, EBAY is a source as are car boots and junk shops. The third one I have just bought is the Nikon adaptor. I have to say this one was super tight but it worked fine. It look several trips out to get the art of manual focusing but with Fuji's peak focusing system (where it highlights what's in focus) it became much easier. Use your feet as well as the focus ring. I was disappointed to start with but now I have a good chance of getting a good image in focus. The Fujinon lenses are superb of course so why bother? Well firstly making it more difficult is more satisfying when you get it right. Old lenses do have more character and are likely to produce a more artistic result. If you want the exact replication of what you are looking at then it is probably not worth the effort. It is a little like waiting for those photos to arrive by post, you may have something really special and unexpectedly good. It is not always possible to tell on the LCD screen. Have fun perhaps but don't take them to that important wedding.

I‘ve had a very nice Pentax 50mm 1.4 SMC in K Mount that I used to use back in the day when I shot Canon. I kept meaning to get an adaptor because it's been described as one of the best 50mm lenses ever made, but it's been sat in its box for 10+ years. Too lazy. Anyway, finally got my finger out and bought this adaptor. Fits well, shoots well. It's a manual focus set up of course, but easy enough to deal with. See the first shot I took at 1.4. Renders nicely. Nothing special as a picture maybe, but gives an indication of quality of this combo. You need to set the menu as allow shoot without a lens, or nothing happens when you press the shutter.
