AI to M4/3 Lens Mount Adapter, Compatible with Nikon Nikkor AI F AI-S Mount Lens and Compatible with Micro 4/3 MFT Mount Cameras
SKU: KF06.078
I‘ve used various convertors over the years to fit M42 lenses to digital cameras. This one is the best made I've ever had. It's a great snug fit to the camera and the lens. No play at all in the fitments. The lens works perfectly on my Panasonic G9 - better than on the Sony A99ii which preceded it. Spot on.

Very impressed for a £30 piece if kit. Nicely machined metal, fits my Olympus OMD and Nikon lenses.
I only have one 14-42 MFT lens that came with my OM-D Em10-3. I have lots of fast Nikon AF lenses so wanted to try some of them out before buying any MFT kit.
Everything is manual with this adaptor.
Manual focus is aided by focus peaking on the Olympus.
Exposure is a little harder. This is one thing I had to find out for myself once I got it, because nobody explained this. You have to work out what exposure is needed, by turning the aperture ring or leaving it wide open and changing the shutter speed. On a “normal" setup, if you change the aperture, you don‘t see it until the photo is taken. With this it is different... as you change the very nice aperture ring THE APERTURE CLOSES, so the viewfinder gets progressively darker as the F-stop goes higher. So you can leave it wide open, compose and focus, then stop it down to the aperture you need, or leave it wide open for nice shallow depth of field and just change the shutter speed.
In all, it is very well-made for what it is, and I look forward to trying some of my other lenses with it.
Example image is with the Nikon 50 AF-S G 1.8

fits my m42 lenses to my mft camera, no play and no evident alignment issues, i recommend k&f adapters having used a bunch of them of different types

There‘s no electronics in the Cinema Lens I have attached to the GH5 (assume this would work just as well on a Blackmagic using the 4/3 mount) so, no need for any autofocus or aperture control. And as such, this does a great job for not much money. Holds the lens steady and tight and that's all you really want it to do.

Great piece of kit to connect an EF lens to an MFT camera. I thought it was going to be plastic and low quality for the price I was paying but it‘s solid, made of metal and feels like it can take a beating... which hopefully won't happen!
Very impressed with this and will use it for more than just the testing of lenses and cameras I had it in mind for.
