Compared to the original Sony this adapter allows the adaptation of Sony A and Minolta AF lenses only of the bayonet: the transmission of the diaphragm and the data communication body / lens does not exist; as a result, the adapted lenses function as manual aperture preselection lenses. About the diaphragm, this can be operated by acting on the ring on the adapter which has no indications but makes some clicks by counting which you can roughly define the effective value starting from the maximum aperture of the lens (for example if a lens opens to 2.8 by making the ring make 1 click we will close at 4, 2 clicks at 5.6 and so on).
The camera must be set for shooting without lens and in practice it will work in manual or aperture priority, also the focus will be manual but focus peaking assistance is possible.
Ultimately it is a cheap product, well made, economic alternative to the Sony originals; not suitable for action or sports photography, great for everything else. I cannot give information on compatibility with full frame sensors because I use APS C.

This adapter is used to use an A-mount lens on E-mount cameras (in my case a Sony Alpha 6100).
The construction is good, it weighs just enough to notice that it is a quality product, it works perfectly.

You have to keep in mind that with the adapter you will have to use everything manually, that is, manual focus is obvious, but something I did not know is that the adapter comes with a ring to close or open the diaphragm but it does not show the step diaphragm (1.8, 2.8, 3.5, etc).
In the camera as you move the ring it will not appear which diaphragm is being used either, specifically in my camera it says F/0.0, even so, you can use the aperture priority mode and the camera calculates the shutter speed without problems.

minolta AF / Sony A to Sony E mount adapter ring; top only downside due to the very affordable price of this one, manual control of the focus + aperture thanks to the base of the adapter ring!

Very qualitative product mainly in metal

I highly recommend!
Top value for money

Worked great for all my M42 lenses. Worked for even the lenses that have autofocus and need the trigger pushed by the flange to be able to adjust the aperture manually. My other M42 adapter does not have a flange to accommodate these lenses. Good build quality as well.

Exactly what I needed. Now I can experiment and use a bunch of old lenses with my Sony a5000 camera.
The adapter is very well made and for this price it's a bargain. Highly recommended.

I think it's a well machined adapter that works very well.. I tried it on a M42 35mm and a 135mm lens .. I was surprised at the quality of images I was able to get on my Sony A7ii and Sony 6000... Well worth the investment.

Not as good as the dedicated Sony equivalent, which has electronic contacts to communicate with the lens. It is a lot cheaper though.
Well made and does the job, bringing back into use all those old Minolta AF lenses.

The fit is not all that great with this adapter. I have a lot of K&F adapters and really expected more from them. It feels sometimes like it's not going to thread on to the lens properly. I guess you get what you pay for.
