There is no question about it, this product is truly amazing for the price. I've seen a review that speaks of flimsy construction, but that is quite unfair in my POV. The battery compartment is hinged and clicks firmly shut, the body is quite firm and will not bend or give easily, so is suffice to protect its internal circuitry. It has a clear display, positive switching and a channel set button that is hidden under the battery compartment's cover. The sound that it produces on the final product, namely during editing is, the best I've heard and performance figures and specs are very close to devices 4x the price. If you like to spend money wisely, this product is for you. Whilst the price is nothing to shout home about, the sound quality is. My advice, buy it and show the video club and your customers how it should sound.

First impressions are great. The sound quality is fantastic, the clip mic is however slightly larger than I am used to, but its fine for what its used for. I'm impressed with the functionality of the units, the build quality is on the flimsy side, but for the price you couldn't expect more.Once ive used these units in a "live" situation I will report back.

I had been looking at wireless microphones to go with my Panasonic camcorder for some time, but up until recently couldn't justify the cost as most of those listed which had good reviews were expensive and beyond my budget for something that would have occasional use. I then stumbled on this item, which had a good rating and generally excellent reviews, and fell within my budget. My order arrived next day (excellent service Amazon). The product comes in a black foam lined box offering excellent protection and storage. The two units are quite small, around the size of a pack of 20 cigarettes, but slimmer. The first thing I did was to work out how to clip the hot shoe adaptor to the receiver as this wasn't clear in the enclosed instructions. It's simple to do, and clips on to the wire bracket attached to the receiver. My transmitter and receive contained AA batteries, with a plastic tab that was removed to allow contact with the terminals. This tab was removed and the two units powered up. My first test was to connect the supplied lapel microphone to the transmitter, attache the receiver to the camcorder, plug in the small 3.5mm link cable between receiver and mic-in socket on the camcorder and then do a simple test recording by walking up the garden path for around 50 feet or so. The resulting clip when played back on the PC was excellent, with a rich deep sound, with clear top end. The microphone is quite sensitive, so doesn't need to be placed too close to the mouth. I've not played with the other settings, but for a straight out of the box experience it was very good.Included in the box is a second microphone with a 3.5mm plug directly attached, so you can plug this in and use the transmitter as a standalone wireless microphone, although there is no second adaptor clip to attach the transmitter to a table top or boom stand, which would have been nice. For under £80 I'm very pleased with my purchase.

These are not the best you can buy, but what I got was a tool that does its job really well. The sound reproduction for my need was great, I think these are great value for money.

This is fantastic, no noise and always works perfectly every time. For the price you would expect less, however, they should charge double for the product quality you get.

For a relatively low cost, noise free, batteries included, wireless Lavalier microphone, this is an excellent bargain. It works straight out of the box, and the voice quality is more than acceptable - it's crisp and clear. Is it going to beat £500+ microphone quality systems? No, obviously not - but for the price, I'm not expecting it to.There is one slight downside, but not worth knocking off a full star - both sides, the transmitter and the receiver is battery powered only - which is a shame: I have to be aware of battery power levels on both sides. When doing recording, my setup is that I am mobile in a room (in need of the battery and wireless), but my recording is stationary and can provide power from the wall - so it's annoying that the receiver is only battery powered.
