Well I won't need anymore step up step down rings for my filters. Fit well and appear well machined. Haven't found any sticking threads yet.

These are adaptors for fitting a lens filter of one size onto a lens of a different size.It is possible to get perfectly acceptable standard UV, polarizing or effect filters cheaply enough that you can just buy one for each lens - I have a UV filter for each of my lenses - but there are some quite specialised filters that cost a lot to buy. If you not made of money then this is a good way to be able to get the most use out of them. The rings themselves are very solid and fit very well on all the various sized lenses I have for my Canon SLR, with no wobble at all. In theory you could use all of them together to fit an 82mm filter on a 37mm lens, or vice versa. I'm sure that wouldn't be a great idea, but for stepping up or down one or two sizes this is an ideal solution, and a lot cheaper than getting very expensive filters that you won't use all the time in multiple sizes, just in case. For me, this is something that will not be needed very often, but when it is needed it will be really useful, and I think the price is about right for that sort of thing. I owuld not want to pay more for something used so infrequently. This product was supplied free by the manufacturer for the purposes of reviewing,

A great idea and at a really good price. I was provided these free of charge by the manufacturer in return for an honest review. This set means you can convert any lens filter from 82mm down to 37mm. They are made from aluminium and are strong and well made. They mean that no matter what lens and filter you have, you can convert them to be used together, saving lots of money! Each ring shows you the two sizes that can be used together which means no fiddling round finding the right one. They screw on and the threads are good and will not wear thin. The rings can be stacked easily for storage. This is a must in any photographic kit, it's so useful and will save you time and energy,

The K&F step up and down rings are neat little additives to allow you to use a single set of screw thread filters with multiple SLR sized lenses. In these days of electronic post production on digital images you might be wondering why bother, well if you want to shoot say a landscape with some moving water with a slow shutter speed to blur the water, and don't want to shut down the aperture on a bright day then adding a neutral density filter will reduce the light getting to the sensor to allow your desired combo of shutter and aperture. Once you start to add to the lens that was probably supplied with your DSLR body you'll find that the don't all have the same filet size and if you bought neutral density filters for every lens size you could end up with a big collection of filters! Two sets of 9 rings are provided step up from 37mm to 82mm. (37, 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77-82mm. There are no instructions with the rings, but it is pretty obvious once you've worked it out. Basically you screw a ring into your lens then add step up or down rings until you have a ring which is the same size as your filter. Step up rings are labelled smaller number to bigger number e.g. 37 to 49mm and step down the other way e.g. 82-77mm. The rings are all black and I happily took them out and unscrewed them, spread them out on the table, and then spent an age putting them all back together...... Not recommended! Easiest to store them stacked then your not getting dirty in the screw threads either.Ideally you buy filters for your largest/larger lens so that you mostly need step down and not up rings and vignetting does occur with a large step down such as 82mm to 55mm.N.B. The manufacturer supplied a free set of these rings and filters in return for an honest assessment review.

These are such a good idea and a nice piece of kit, especially if you have more than one camera, as you only have to pay out for one set of lens filters with these stepping adapters. One set goes up from 37mm to a big 82mm and the other set goes down from 82mm down to 37mm.They were easy enough to twist apart and twist back on. Took me a while to find the correct one to fit one of my camera's for a particular lens I wanted to try out, but didn't have to take one off at a time so that was good. The threads are nice and neat and not cross threaded, so they are easy to twist on and off. I like how they are labelled clearly so when I was using a 52mm lens filter on a 72mm lens thread I had to untwist the 72mm lens adapter all the way down to 52mm ( I think it was 7 adapters attached) and then screwed the lens filter on to the last one.Seem really well made of light aluminium, clearly and nicely marked and so easy to use.I was sent a sample to test out and give an honest review.

Note: I was provided this product free of charge by the manufacturer but no attempt has been made to influence my review.First up, I'm not a massive fan of adapter rings, generally preferring to get the right filter for the right lens. However, for specialist photography where it is something quite rare (eg. lots of neutral density filters to try and catch an eclipse) the flexibility this provides is great. The range of adapter sizes is superb.. I have mainly 58mm and 77mm lenses and those are both covered. I also have an 86mm lens (Sigma 50-500) but I'm not so bothered about filters on them. The adapters themselves connect to each other nicely, and feel quite solid. They are quite narrow which is good, and also lightweight From using them a bit, I've already noticed the black paint come off a bit, but frankly for the cost, I would still recommend these.

When I was asked to review photography accessories I had to ask my partner which items were compatible with his camera because he is the photography enthusiast in our household, whereas I just "snap" usually with a phone camera! I was offered a few different items which I did not really know what they were for, so I showed them to him and he picked these rings. They are for enabling your camera to use different size filters, they act as adapters which allow you to fit any size. Here is what my partner thinks of them:"They do exactly what it says they do. They are easy to use and with 18 of them you are covered for pretty much any standard size. They are priced very reasonably and I am very impressed with them. They open up many possibilities for my camera"So there we have it. He is impressed and if he is happy then so am I!
