Simple tripod boom which does the job. It has 2 adjustable hinges for adjusting the height and angle of the boom. Fits any 1/4 screw. Instructions were a bit lacklustre - but I assume if you're getting this, you already know what you're doing.

there is an aluminium tube with a plastic centre section would have been better being made from aluminium and telling customers it is plastic time will tell how long this item lasts

For just £26.00 this extension arm is great value. Mine arrived disassembled but by looking at the photographs on Amazon's product page it was fairly simple to work out what goes where. I've mounted a Neewer Ball Head on mine and have it attached to a Manfrotto 290 Xtra tripod, a combination which suits my needs at present. As other reviewers have noted, the levelling bubble is almost useless and the extension arm itself could do with being a few hundred millimetres longer; minor quibbles and certainly no deal breaker. Overall I'm quite impressed with this item and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Since I already owned a tripod, I was only looking for an attachment to help with better overhead filming. This was easy to setup and perfect for my needs. It comes with about ten separate pieces but all of it is pretty self explanatory. It doesn't feel cheap at all, in fact, it's quite sturdy and durable. I'm very happy with my purchase.

As per the title it does the job. It’s quite sturdy & good valueWhat’s not to like:- it’s a too short. Another 150 – 200 mm of length or even better a telescopic arrangement would be more useful as a part of the 300mm length is lost to the rear so that a counterbalance bag can be attached & not foul the tripod. This reduces the effective radius to about 300mm with a ball head mounted on the end of the arm.- The hook for the counterbalance bag is free to rotate which can allow the bag to fall off – not good- There is no rotatable fitting where the clamp bracket fits on to the tripod. This means that to rotate the camera one either has to rotate the whole tripod which is clumsy or use the screw fitting between the bracket & the tripod which is then means the whole assembly is free to move around.- Mine came with no instructions at all although. I was able to assemble it using the pictures on AmazonI’m thinking of returning it if I can find something more adaptable in the next few days.
