Very smooth motion, feels very stable even with a 5D on top.The fishplate screw it comes with however seems to be in adjustable, it's a 3.5mm Allen key (which it didn't come with) and very tough. You really need a thumb screw for attaching the camera to the slider, or you can only attach it via screwing the camera down... Meaning it'll be at a mad angle.Other than that it's really good value and well thought out, I'll get a replacement screw for this and it should be perfect.
